    Founder

    Kate founded DC Food Rescue (then Food Rescue US – DC) in 2016 after catching the food rescue bug as a volunteer in her home state of Connecticut. A Georgetown graduate, Kate has worked in television production and political campaign management. Since 2016, she has been building and growing DC Food Rescue across the DMV. As she passes the torch to new leadership, she is excited to continue as a volunteer food rescuer, committed to battling food waste and hunger and building community connections.

    Executive Director

    Tony is Executive Director of ENUF, where he leads strategy, programs, development, finance, and external relations. For more than 20 years, he has worked to strengthen food systems, expand access to nutrition assistance, and reduce barriers for families facing hardship. Drawing on personal and professional experiences across public health, food security, and environmental sustainability, Tony brings a systems-minded, equity-driven approach to building solutions that nourish communities, reduce waste, and create a little more joy along the way.

    Eva Reynolds

    Director, Data & Communications

    Eva leads ENUF’s communications, impact data reporting, and annual fundraiser planning. Driven by her passion for reducing food waste, Eva began volunteering as a food rescuer in 2017 and earned her M.A. in Food Studies: Policies for Sustainable Production and Consumption in 2020. She worked in wine retail management throughout the COVID-19 pandemic before joining as Site Coordinator in 2023. Eva is passionate about advancing environmental sustainability and food security through interventions across the food system.

    Jenna Von Elling

    Manager, Operations

    Jenna oversees daily rescue operations and manages the volunteer network that makes them run. She first stepped into food recovery in 2019 as the founding leader of the Luther Jackson Middle School food pantry, a role that grew from a personal connection to her community and has since expanded into a thriving network supporting families facing food insecurity. Through her years of food rescue partnership, Jenna developed the operational expertise and relationships that now form the backbone of DC Food Rescue.
